World Rivers Day

Celebrated on the fourth Sunday of September

World Rivers Day

World Rivers Day is a celebration of the world’s waterways. It highlights the many values of our rivers, strives to increase public awareness, and encourages the improved stewardship of all rivers around the world. Hope Mountain Centre, with a parallel focus on environmental stewardship, found a natural partnership with World Rivers Day and has supported their communication work for over 15 years working on global email communications, global event updates, website design/management, print ad design, video and mailing list compilation.

Each year Hope Mountain Centre also puts on a Guided Paddle along the Fraser River on World Rivers Day. Check out Public Programs page for more information and to register.
